🧭 Core Fundamentals

The Standard Feline Calendar (SFC) is a comprehensive system blending horology, astronomy, and feline ethology.

⏳ Time Dilation

Feline life flows differently. SFC uses a fixed scaling constant:

  • 1 Earth Year = 5 Feline Years
  • 1 Earth Day = 1/73 Feline Year

🍂 Feline Seasons

Feline seasons are driven by light and temperature:

  • Sprouting (Days 1-19): Warming weather. Shedding peaks (99%). High restlessness.
  • Melting (Days 20-37): Peak heat. Cats lose solid form and become "liquid," seeking cool spots.
  • Hoarding (Days 38-55): Cooling down. Appetite surge to store fat for winter.
  • Sealing (Days 56-73): Cold weather. Cats are "sealed" in blankets or by heaters. Minimal shedding (10%).
